I’m not sure how to explain this. So, my fiancé and I moved to SC from FL and we obviously needed new health insurance. I got BCBS through healthcaregov. However, my fiancé and the company he works for, both sides messed up and long story short, he does not have health insurance until the next enrollment period for his job. I started my new job 12/1/2021 and now in February is when I’m supposed to be eligible for their health insurance. I am waiting on the person who handles it to email me back if I can get in it or not. If not, it’s fine my fiancée will just have to join my BCBS policy (even though it’s super expensive if he joins). If my job says I can join, how would that work? Do I just cancel my BCBS or is that not a thing? also please don’t judge me for not knowing. I’m 25F where school and my parents refused to teach me how to be an adult haha. Thanks for all and any help!
