Hi, Please let me know if this is entirely the wrong place to post but I was looking for some advice in case anyone has experienced something similar.
A while back I got 3 fillings done simultaneously at the dentist. After, I couldn’t eat on that side of my mouth due to severe pain on one of the teeth. I went back 3 separate times to see if they could fix it/redo the filling but nothing improved (granted they did those visits free of cost) so they sent me to an endodontist for a root canal which ended up around $300. Not great but not terrible.
Now, I just scheduled my appointment for the crown and was informed it would be about $600. My non-confrontational self is probably going to end up just paying for this but is there a world in which I shouldn’t have to pay for this all myself? To me this is all a result of a bad filling. Should I be responsible for that? For context I have Delta Dental.
I feel silly even posting this so I’m sorry if it doesn’t belong. If anyone has been through anything similar and has any advice it would be seriously appreciated. And yes, I am embarrassed about my 3 cavities 😰 Thank you!
