I feel like I’ve been robbed $279.
Before I signed up with Florida Blue, I looked on their website for pharmacy options. If you scroll down and click “Pharmacy” then click “Pharmacy Choices” it says Publix is a preferred in-network option.
Since I’ve been using Publix for my prescriptions since I was a child I was glad they were approved. I went ahead and signed up for a myBlue plan that the agent recommended me.
I wait for my cards to come in and set up my account. It didn’t register right so I had to make a new account so I finally log in today and it says WALGREENS is the only pharmacy allowed for my plan.
WTF?
I call the service number, they just say yup only Walgreens is on the pharmacy locator for your plan.
I look at Publix.com and they say FLORIDA BLUE is accepted!
I don’t know what to do now. My Publix is 2 minutes away from me and the nearest Walgreens is 10 minutes in the next town over!
Should I cancel this and go find something else? Argh 🙁
