I hope this is the right sub to ask this. If my maximum out of pocket is met before my deductible, what happens? Do I no longer have to pay for medical expenses, including my deductible? To explain, I have a prescription that is almost $500 plus a few others. I’m going to meet my maximum out of pocket near September and I was looking to have a surgery around that time.
