Hi, my dad has both Medicare and also medicaid via a medicaid managed care company. He only became eligible for Medicare recently, so he didn’t give his Medicare card to the doctor’s office. They billed his MMC as primary, which got denied. The Medicaid plan sent him a denial letter along with an appeal form. How can I have them bill it properly? Do I just write in the denial that he has Medicare?
We live in NY. He has Medicare and MVP(Medicaid)
