I recently had a MRI done at a hospital. I was billed for both the service and the radiologist’s interpretation which is standard. Now my insurance only lists one copay amount for MRIs. Is it standard for that amount to cover BOTH the service and radiologist’s work or do I have to pay the full copay for each?
The patient benefits summary doesn’t specify and Customer Service couldn’t give me a definitive answer.
Just wondering if someone can shed a light here so I can confirm that I am charged appropriately.
