Hey, I was looking into the healthcare system and it’s very confusing.
I was wondering if any Americans could summarise the system for me?
Also I really want to know your perspective on your healthcare system: – Do you like it? – Do you think it’s better than other European or Asian countries healthcare? Eg NHS – What do you dislike the most? – what do you like the most?
Also how much does the average person spend on healthcare and what does that cover? Is it true that a significant minority of people struggle to afford treatments and ambulances etc? I’ve heard the opposite also that most people have insurance covered by their employer and it’s pretty good? Is this true?
Sorry for all the questions I just want to understand the system better and also the perspective of the people using it. Thanks!
