Hello, for certain reasons I elected to decline health insurance coverage from my employer. Things changed and I’d like to see about getting covered through a qualifying event. I’m not experiencing any medical issues or anything just out of paranoia would like to be covered. I know loss of coverage is considered a qualifying event so I’m wondering if i’d be able to sign up for insurance through the marketplace and pay full price for a month then cancel. Is this possible and would this count as a qualifying life event?
