I joined a company & designated my new health insurance so reading through the benefits statement I found out:
elective abortions (including the pill): $150 copay breast prostheses: 10% Vasectomy: $20/visit Fallopian tube litigation: NOT COVERED.
What is the deal with this? It seems like women already have to jump through some wild hoops just to get a doctor onboard to perform Fallopian tube litigation (too young, unmarried, spousal consent, only having one child, etc.) and now it’s not covered? This probably isn’t new, I just never noticed til now. So what are y’all’s thoughts on this?!
