A couple months ago I realized I was being billed by my hospital. I called my insurance and long story short it appears as if I also have health insurance under another company. I called that company and they confirmed that it’s not actually me (I just share the same name and birthday but have a different ssn and address). My insurance wants the company to send them a letter but the company refuses. I even put them on a 3 way call and they said they’d handle it. A few weeks I called again and they said they’d escalate the claim. So far the claim has been escalated twice and nothing has happened. What do I do?
