I honestly don’t know what I am missing. They sent me a letter asking for my medical records to see if they would cover my MRI. I requested the records from my doctor. While I was waiting for the records, I got an explanation of benefits where they paid about $1000 and my part was $400 (discounted from $4400). I figured they must have gotten the records from my doctor and paid.
Today I got a letter stating they had denied coverage for the MRI.
Should I be doing anything at this point? I kinda don’t want to point out to my insurance company they already paid the denied claim.
