Finding Short-Term Coverage for 26 Year Old Between Jobs

I’m really lost, any help is appreciated! I’ve been on my parent’s healthcare plan (BCBS, CT) but turned 26 this year, so my coverage will expire July 1.

I am leaving my current job in NC on June 1. I’m not currently enrolled in my State’s plan.

I am planning on taking two months off (June and July) to travel this summer before getting a new job in August, when I plan to enroll in my employer’s plan.

What are my options for finding short term coverage for basically just the month of July?? Do I just go uninsured? I will be traveling, driving, and hiking a lot so that doesn’t seem like a great option, though I am generally extremely healthy with no pre-existing conditions.

This is further complicated by the fact that I am currently an NC resident, but my lease also ends June 1st, so my NC address won’t be officially valid. This is a whole other issue that I need to sort out, but figured it may affect my insurance, since I’m not even sure which state I will be a resident of come June 1.
