I’m a 33 yr male, permanent resident of the USA (currently in the process of citizenship) so I don’t think I qualify for Medicaid in Florida (or any sort of medical assistance as far as I know). I work a full time job and missed the enrollment period for Healthcare unfortunately. My job has a thing were they pay a portion of the premium.
Now I’m discovering I have IBD, possibly Crohns Disease or something similar. I’ve ended up in the hospital several times these last few years with severe cases of Colitis. Historically I’ve had digestive issues. Missing my gallbladder and my appendix, etc. I really need to see a GI doctor ASAP. Can’t wait anymore as this condition– what ever it may be is starting to impact my life dramatically.
Where can I go and what can I do to get some coverage out of this enrollment period. Is it really like this in this country– they just shut the doors on medical plans for the rest of the year? Help please 🙏🏻
