So I currently have insurance through healthcare marketplace due to my job switching owners, there was a break in insurance. Well the new company offers an HSA or a healthcare plan. The HSA is on bernieportal and it says it’s “$0” but then when I select it, it says $70 per pay period. Wtf? Is HSA considered insurance at all? If my job offers this, does this disqualify me from receiving subsidies? Their actual heal are plan says “$111” per pay period, which would be considered less than 9.6% of my income and would qualify as “affordable” insurance, but when selected, says I’ll be charged $160-180 per pay period, which would be over the 9.6%. What’s going on? Has anyone had this issue? There’s no way I’m paying for either of these, I’d rather just not have insurance if this disqualifies me from receiving my subsidy for healthcare marketplace. TYIA
