Hi all! So my wife is pregnant with our first child. She has a PPO plan through her work. Our due date is early September, and our baby shower is in a different state in late July (about a 5 hour drive…we will only be there for a day or two.) I started thinking what if something happened and she needed to give birth in the other state if the baby unexpectedly came early (I know the chances of us not knowing the baby would come early is extremely low, but it’s not impossible). She is planning on discussing this situation with the insurance company, but would something like this be covered in general?
Edit: we are in IL. Shower is in MI.
