NYS Marketplace plan. 10016
I’m looking at NYS marketplace plans (change in life circumstances qualifier) and some of the HDHP (example $4700 ded + $8700 OOP individual) are marked “No” underneath “Allows Health Savings Account”. However this would qualify as a HDHP under IRS rules. So why wouldn’t a HSA be allowed? What am I missing?
The marketplace nor the health insurance company could answer my question.
