My partner has United Health Care network through UMR, and this insurance seems to be radioactive for mental health. Has anyone had any success getting coverage for things like ADHD neuropsych evaluations by advocating with insurance based on either mental health parity laws or the newer network adequacy laws? There do not appear to be any neuropsychologists in our area that take this insurance. A second question would be, how do I find a phone number at the state level to ask about these laws? I’m in Michigan.
