I just got a new job and am nearing the end of my benefits enrollment period.
My husband and I are hoping to conceive within the year and are reconsidering our current plan with his employer.
I would appreciate any and all advice related! My decision will have to be made within a day.
Husbands Plan
Monthly Premium: 4k family deductible/ 10,900 family Out of pocket max/ 20% coinsurance
My options
Monthly Premium: $100 family deductible/ 5000 family out of pocket max/ 25% coinsurance
I have been advised to look into short term disability plans as well. I’ll be calling both benefits offices to find out about these tomorrow.
