Long story short I received confirmation 2 weeks ago that I have a pituitary tumor that needs to be removed. Today my old company and boss called and offered me a new job that I really want to take. However, I have not scheduled my surgery yet and I’m worried about insurance and coverage if I accept the new job.
My potential new employer is willing to work with me with time off and work from home when it’s time for the surgery. Again, my only concern is insurance in reguards to coverage, pre existing and all that confusing stuff. I currently have Anthem blue cross blue shield. New employer uses Blue cross blue shield.
Will I be covered if I take the new job? Will I have to resort to COBRA until 2023?
