So I bought accident insurance bc it was newly offered as a benefit with my company. Two weeks later aka last weekend I broke my metatarsals in my foot outside of work. Effective date is 5/1. Although I’ve been x rated at a urgent care, I haven’t seen an orthopedic specialist yet. If I wait to see them until 5/1 can is still claim under accident insurance??
