I requested some detailed thyroid tests which includes free T3 and T4, but I’ve read that these two tests can cost an upwards of several thousands of dollars. My doctor has put the slip in to give the test a green light for me and now the lab is just waiting on me to do it. Can I call my health insurance company at this point to get the exact quote since my blood test for this is now pending?
