Weird marketplace/aca question for nomads

Hi all,

Not sure the best place to ask this question. So we travel a lot, and are actually pretty happy with our plan in Ohio. We pay 0$ for an HSA (our income is low).

However, we are aware that it is quite popular for people to get residency in SD for the tax breaks and ease of obtaining residence. We are interested in doing this, but are unsure of what sort of healthcare coverage we will be offered.

Is there a way to view plans in another state? healthcare.gov asks for a ton of personal info upfront, and I’m afraid to “lie” to the site so I can view plans in another state.

We are healthy, we just want a cheap hsa so we can continue to put money in the awesome tax-free account!

If there is a better place to get an answer to this, then I’m all ears. Google is failing me.

Thank you 🙂
