I recently got my wisdom teeth removed. I have Teamcare insurance and at the time of appointment I was forced to pay the whole procedure in full. $3.5k. A week later and I haven’t seen a claim on the insurance website so I call them. They said “sorry we do not take blue cross blue shield insurance which we told you before the procedure.” Which they obviously did not. I feel like there is nothing I can do because it is my word against there’s. My other insurance through my parents covered $750 but that shows up as a credit balance on the receipt, which I would have never known about if I didn’t demand a receipt from them a while back. The dentist office also hasn’t responded to any of my calls or emails the past 4 days. Any help on this matter is appreciated.
