College student without health insurance and super suspicious heart problems.

So lately I’ve been feeling completely doomed. For physical and financial reasons. I’ve been having heart problems for a week now (faintness, dizziness, chest pains). And can see my life flashing for my eyes every time I have an hour long anxiety episode about my heart hurting for no apparent reason.

I found the small clinic I can go to for an EKG and I’m going tomorrow. Whatever would help with the anxiety would be some reference for how it would be possible for me to financially recover from some sort of heart surgery or emergency room visit.

I have no insurance, working a HEB, and have FAFSA community college. I’m terrified of being medical debt for the rest of my life if I have to have open heart surgery.

Are there any types of charities that could help me if I go the ER? Do people end up in debt for the rest of their lives? Should I go to some specific kind of hospital that has charity care?

Thx all
