I’m currently 19 turning 20 in July and I live in Florida. My mom has insurance through her job but she didn’t put me on her plan because it was expensive and I have access to my University’s health clinic, so we didn’t think I would absolutely need it. That was before we knew I would need insurance in order to enroll in nursing school. I need to have proof of insurance before late August, what are my options? I currently make around $8,000 a year but that’s a ballpark figure.
