My wife and son are covered under my wife’s policy. I want to switch them over to my insurance plan, and was told by my employer that this would be no problem. My employer want’s a letter from her company stating the dates that her and my son’s coverage will end. The problem is her employer is refusing to provide this letter until her coverage ends. I don’t want her and my son to be uninsured, so how can I get this letter in time for them to be covered on my policy?
