Hey all. I’m an accountant for a small business (less than 50 FTE). We are trying to plan ahead for 2023 and I had an insurance question. Rather than offering a group plan, we would like to reimburse our employees (for both premiums & OOP costs) for choosing plans through the healthcare marketplace. However, if we do this, would it reduce the amount of tax credit they receive, thus making their premium higher? Is there a type of HRA that avoids this problem?
