Specifically talking about the referral process. Not knowing when the referral is expired, dealing with having to wait however long for a referral to go through and with my primary, specifically, hoping his staff answers the phone that day.
Surely there is some kind of service or something I can opt in for to make this process less annoying? Or am I doomed to make appointments, drive there only to be told “So did they send a new referral?” On the spot until I can get better insurance?
I’m thankful to have anything at all here in the US but when you have ADHD, anything that can make taking care of myself any more accessible is great.
