I’m an international graduate student (NC), and so far my program has paid for my insurance. However, for the summer, I’m doing an internship in Washington, and the company does not pay for my insurance. As an international student, I believe I’m required to have health insurance. I have appointments with a psychiatrist during my internship; this doctor is based in NC and the visits will be virtual.
How do I look for health insurance plans? I know what companies are in-network with my doctor, do I look at them in Washington? I’m slightly confused.
