The company I work for was purchased in January of this year, the new company has given us 2 new “plans” (they kept telling us this isn’t a traditional insurance) to choose from. Nobody at work knows I am pregnant, it’s still very early on.
I will post a link to the “plans”. From what I understand they are offering a PPO that seems pretty normal but also an HSA plan which I am completely unfamiliar with. Am I correct in seeing that the deductible & out of pocket max for the HSA plan is $3000 and once I hit that I will not have to pay anymore? Medical expenses regarding pregnancy and giving birth can be in the thousands. Am I better of choosing the HSA and hitting the $3k instead of doing the PPO and still potentially having to pay 20% costs after the deductible?
