I struggle with bipolar I disorder and have been hospitalized 2 times in the last couple of months for it. I’ve been unable to work for the last year and as a result, I’m dropping out of my PhD program and leaving with a Master’s degree. The problem is that I had my health insurance through my PhD program so now I won’t have any health insurance. On top of all of this, I have lupus and a thyroid condition that I need to have medicine for. My health insurance expires in August. Is there anything I can do to prevent having a gap in coverage?
Thanks!
edit: I’m a 26 year old woman in Georgia if it matters
