I have been on my mother’s health insurance with blue cross blue shield through her work, but I just turned 24 recently and they said I aged out at 24.
I see that it is federal law for them to provide it up until the age of 26 though.
We contacted her company and told them that it is federal law that they provide insurance up until age 26, and they got an attitude and said we aren’t the federal government.
Is there any agency I can contact to get them to sort this out?
