I’m planning to quit my job at the end of August to take a sabbatical. I’m currently covered through my employer. My yearly income with 8 months of work would be about $32,000 which healthcare.gov shows I’m eligible for a tax credit.
However after talking to a friend he told me even though he doesn’t work and doesn’t have an income that he’s still paying full price for health insurance through healthcare.gov and that he doesn’t receive a tax credit.
Trying to get everything lined up and very confused at the moment. Thank you
