My family uses Anthem. We switch to Cigna on September 1st (new employer). Anthem’s deductible (4000) reset on August 1st.
I just took my daughter to the ER in August and had to pay Anthem the full $4000 deductible. The deductible will reset AGAIN next month when we switch to Cigna. My wife gives birth shortly after.
Is there anything I can do, or am I just getting screwed by this timing?
