I copied/pasted the balance details from Ambetter’s website. I usually pay $6.95. But they deducted $531.54 from my autopay this time. I think the “balance adjustment” is a new thing and wasn’t there before.
I called them up and was on the phone for over 40 minutes. After all that time, the only meaningful thing I got was to call back in 2 weeks and ask for a refund. I tried asking more and more but I couldn’t get any answers that were meaningful to me. I don’t remember being told what the balance adjustment meant or was for. It comes off very sketchy to me.
This is regarding Marketplace insurance in the state of Arizona. Ambetter is the name of the insurance company.
