This is the first time Iāve had a procedure done. Iāve made sure that the doctorās facility is in-network. They told me my total bill will only be $600 for an Upper Endoscopy.
Lo and behold, I get a separate anesthesia bill for $5500, after Anthem only deducted $200!
Apparently, the anesthesiologist isnāt in-network. How was I supposed to know that? Itās not like you can inquire for an āin-networkāanesthesiologist beforehand, right? Anyone had a similar experience & has submitted a dispute/additional claim?
