I’m turning 26 in January and need to find a health insurance plan since I’m coming off my parents. What are the pros/cons of using Medicare vs. paying for a higher priced plan through covered California? I’m pretty healthy and rarely go to the doctor, but I do live a very active lifestyle that puts me at risk of injuries/broken bones (snowboarding, surfing, jiu jitsu, etc.). Any advice is greatly appreciated—I’m just learning about all of this so trying to navigate through a lot of information.
