I am a single guy with no kids and no close relationships in the country. I had recently retired and purchased my own health insurance via kaiser permanente. I recently met a friend my age who developed cancer and was bed ridden. He was in a lot of pain and could barely move but he has his family to care for him. However, I am not in a similar situation and will need a home nurse. I was wondering if I am in a similar situation where I am hospitalized but discharged and need home care will any medical insurance cover the cost of a home nurse?
