I have an adult brother (27yo) with some physical and mental handicaps. He has medicaid, but some of his conditions could really use better care. I am getting a new government job with awesome health insurance, and I would love to put him on the plan.
Is there any way to get around the fact that he’s not my child or my spouse? I do spend a lot of money towards his support. We’re working on getting SSI in place, but obviously that won’t improve his healthcare prospects.
