Hi everyone, so I visited a new doctor a few months ago and they had me pay a $15 copay, which I did up front. My insurance card lists a $15 copay for physician visits so I didn’t give it much thought. However, I recently have been receiving mail from Optum saying that I have a $15 balance that needs to be paid.
I don’t understand what exactly they’re billing me for.. it states it’s for the visit, which I already paid for. Is this something I should be calling the doctor’s office about? $15 isn’t a whole lot but I definitely don’t wanna be paying extra if I shouldn’t be.
