Are Invisalign and Acne scar treatment (laser through a dermatologist) considered cosmetic and not covered?

I have PPO through my job (had HMO and switched after a 3k ER visit charge). I’m not really sure what I read, that confined me to switch, but anyway. Are any of these covered , at least partially, through insurance. I also have dental through the same plan, but the office I called said I would have to pay in cash for my cleaning as they did not accept PPO. I was going to start calling blue cross blue shield/ dentist office and the dermatology and cosmetics center to get some answers, but if anyone here has any experience/ advice, I’d greatly appreciate it.
