My daughter is currently on Medicaid, maybe soon to be CHIP due to small increase in income.
My daughter desperately needs ABA autism therapy which is currently covered by Obamacare but not Medicaid/CHIP in the state of Texas.
I have the extra money to sign her up for an Obamacare plan, even if I might have to pay a deductible it could still be a good deal (ABA therapy costs > $2000/wk).
Should I try and keep Medicaid/CHIP with Obamacare for her? Any advice for this type of situation? Overall, I like Medicaid/CHIP because Texas Children’s is in network. Obamacare network is terrible compared to Medicaid/CHIP.
