I am turning 26 in March and plan on buying an individual plan because I am self employed. I am trying to sign up on Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan website. I check “No” when it first asks about tobacco use because I don’t smoke. However a few steps later in the sign up when I am getting ready to submit the application it changes my tobacco use to “Yes”. Could this be a glitch? It is still giving me the non – smoker price. I just want to make sure I don’t cause extra problems for myself before I submit the application. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks!
