My brother was driving from Denver to the East Coast and he made it to Ohio so far, but he had some major stomach pains and vomiting so after going to the ER he found out they might need to remove his gallbladder.
He’s currently on Medicaid in Colorado as he just graduated grad school.
We’re still waiting to hear back on the surgery options/timeline.
I frankly know nothing about Medicaid and potential costs for something like this, but is his best option to just get the surgery in Ohio? It might ultimately come down to the doctor’s recommendations on how quickly he needs this surgery, but from a pure cost perspective i’m wondering if you would have any advice on this situation.
