Like the title says. I want to upgrade my dental insurance (Anthem) from the normal family plan to enhanced. Can I do this on Healthcare.gov or does it only allow you to have 1 dental plan (dental plans that are separate from normal health insurance plans).
(not important to the question) Why I want 2 dental plans:
A doctor friend of mine said that I would have to wait another 12 months to be able to get crowns if I switched to an enhanced plan from the same company. This is why I want 2 plans. 1 plan to cover me for 2022, the other to wait 12 months to be eligible to get crowns in 2023. Normally I would just try it and see what happens, but I don’t want to hit the enroll button for the enhanced plan in case it kicks me off my current plan causing me to be ineligible for crowns for 2022.
