I am getting a prescription filled at my pharmacy, and I have health insurance, but I want to make sure that the policyholder of my insurance doesn’t find out about my prescription. Can I just pay for the prescription out of pocket when picking it up? Or will the pharmacy automatically bill my insurance before I can make the decision to pay out of pocket?
