Can I qualify for a subsidy if my employer offers a group plan?

Remind lawyer offers health insurance coverage. It would be myself my wife and my two children. They are telling me that the plan would be $1200 a month with a $12,000 family deductible. I called some brokers for quotes and they are quoting me the same thing without a group plan.

I keep reading conflicting information on the website and none of the people I talk to you seem to be able to help answer my question.

I read that if my employer offers a group plan that I can’t qualify for a subsidy but then some things I read say that I can still qualify for a subsidy if my group plan amount Reasonable or within means. Between my wife and I combined we make no about $50,000-$60,000 a year. I’d be paying over $14,000 a year in health premiums if I go on this group plan which would be almost half of my salary.

Can anyone clarifying or guide me in the right directions weather or not I could qualify for a subsidy even if my employer offers a group plan?

Thank you!
