I’m escaping an abusive situation that I stayed in for too long because of fear that I’d lose my health insurance. I live in california, and would definitely qualify for covered california, and my college offers health benefits to some degree, but it would most definitely be easier for me to stay. If I’m able to stay on safely, I’d like to. If I’m unable to stay on, how to I remove myself from their plan? What should I do?
Also, if it helps, I am currently on Kaiser under my parents.
