So I’ve been hearing some mixed thoughts on this matter. If I am under 26, file my taxes independently, and my employer offers me an insurance plan, am I still allowed to be a dependent on my mom’s Marketplace insurance plan?
From what I’ve found online it says you can stay on your parent’s plan until age 26 without question, but some people I’ve talked to say otherwise if my employer offers insurance.
