I have a possible new job coming up, and these two plans with United Healthcare are my two options (there is also an EPO, but I already ruled that one out).
Both plans are relatively the same deduction in paycheck with only a $25 difference per month.
Am T2 Diabetic with some other health issues including possible cervical spine surgery coming up in the near future, and some other health issues.
Its hard deciphering these plans and which is best choice for myself. My first reaction is to go with the $500 deductible (PPO 500) vs $3k Deductible (PPO 2500 HSA).
I think it all hinges on what the Healths Savings account side would benefit me. (tax free paycheck contributions to go towards healthcare).
Easy to go cross-eyed trying to decipher this stuff.
